our core values
The core values that form Seacon are:
- Sustainable responsibility
Sylvester van de Logt, CEO
Sylvester van de Logt (47), trained as an accountant at Nyenrode Business University, made a step into the logistics sector almost 20 years ago after gaining experience at KPMG and Philips. As a concern controller at the Emons Group, the logistics company of the Emons family, he has developed his international knowledge of the logistics sector and designed, for many years, in the role of chief financial officer (CFO), the strategic growth of the organization in the field of financial, tax and legal aspects.
More than 5 years ago he started as CFO at Seacon Logistics Group, also a family business. His qualities as a financial expert, strategist, connector and motivator have led him to exchange this role for the final responsibility of Seacon Logistics Group as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). His aim is always to achieve the best possible result and with his sense of humor, his accessibility and his ability to empower others, he shows this in the strategic development that Seacon has initiated and realised.
Thomas Glatzel, CFO
Thomas Glatzel (62) obtained his doctorate in Economics & Political Science at the University of Vienna (AT) and continued his studies at Tilburg University where he was trained as a Chartered Accountant. He has worked for years at Philips in the role of Senior Vice President and CFO of various divisions and has always had a strong focus on international activities. He then used this experience for some time for Office Depot (part of the Viking Raja Group, an internationally leading party in office supplies and services).
One of Thomas's qualities is to understand and transform organizations and then strategically lead them to a qualitative increase in scale. He has been involved with Seacon Logistics Group for several years, first as a member of the Supervisory Board and then as Sylvester's successor in the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Together with Sylvester van de Logt he forms the board of the group.
