What are VAS and VAL activities?
Value Added Services and Value Added Logistics are logistics services that aim to add value to products or services.
VAS activities focus on adding value to individual goods (such as applying labels or assembling products). In contrast, VAL activities focus on adding value to the entire logistics chain to achieve process optimisation and chain collaboration.

The Swedish company Oriflame was started in 1967 by the brothers Jonas and Robert af Jochnick and their friend Bengt Hellsten.
