Management reorganisation at Seacon Logistics
VENLO, 23 November 2010- With effect from 1 January 2011, changes will be made at management level at logistic service provider Seacon Logistics. Twenty five years after the establishment of the company, founder and current managing director Hai Berden will hand over the daily management tasks to a new team of directors. In his role as board chairman of the holding company, Mr Berden’s focus will shift to policy related matters.

Jan Schaerlaeckens, Corné Geerts, Frank Hermans and Jac BerdenCommencing on 1 January 2011, the newly appointed managing director Corné Geerts (42) will head the team of directors at Seacon logistics. The other members are Frank Hermans (48, forwarding and transport director), Jac Berden (55, CTV container trucking director) and Jan Schaerlaeckens (51, warehousing & logistics director).
“Over the past years I have taken more of a back seat regarding the daily management at Seacon Logistics. This reorganisation at management level is the logical next step in the development of our company. The fact that our directors have been working at our organisation for some time, and therefore have intimate knowledge of the company, will also facilitate a smooth transition”, comments Hai Berden.
