Bruls unveils Seacon Logistics artwork
Last Sunday afternoon in Blerick, the Mayor of Venlo Hubert Bruls unveiled a sculpture in honour of Seacon Logistics’ 25th anniversary.
Representing the logistics company’s activities, the sculpture is situated in the centre of a roundabout on Celsiusweg, close to some of Seacon’s offices. The artwork was created by Venlo artist Hans Reijnders. ‘I had plenty of good preparation for this commission from Seacon’, Reijnders said. ‘Elements such as water, containers and colours relate to the company. These are also recurring themes in the sculpture itself.’ Seacon Logistics founder Hai Berden was delighted with Reijnders’ work. ‘This design reflects the character of Seacon, we are glad we have been able to find a fitting location for it.’
This year, the Blerick-founded Seacon Logistics company celebrates its 25th anniversary and various festivities have already taken place so far. In December, the anniversary year will be closed officially.
